Home sweet home!

Hej Alle,

Hvor heldig har man lov at være; hele to dejlige hjem i denne verden! Hjemme i Danmark i hele juli – sikke en super ferie og 1000 tak til alle for en god tid! Og nu hjemme igen i Sydafrika og nyder det – alle sammen!Der var fuld fart på hele tiden i Danmark og det var sjovt og dejligt! Et par highlights; koncert med La Pistola sammen med Rikke i Århus. Jettes 60 års fødselsdagsfest i lækkert luksussommerhus og tjek lige billederne af min seje svigermor. En af fødselsdagsgaverne var et tandemspring fra 3,5 km. højde og hun var glad hele vejen op og ned! Cool eller hva’?! 4 dobbelt fødselsdag i Djurs sommerland. Tur til Nordjylland med Alex og Lisbeth; fisk på havnen i Skagen, middag på Grenen, vandski i Tversted. Dejlige sommerdage på ”min” strand i Risskov, mormor og morfars sejlbåd, Hornbæk og Vejby strand med venner. Cafebesøg, frokoster, middage etc., med venner og familie. Legedates med drengenes bedste venner og veninder etc. etc.Jeg snuppede også et par dage med min dejlige veninde Marit, som jeg mødte for 22 år siden i Australien i skønne Amsterdam og så lige hele familien et par dage i London. Vi kommer igen til næste sommer!!!Tænkte at der skulle et plaster på såret i forhold til at drengene skulle hjem til SA, men det var slet ikke nødvendigt med de to små dværgkaniner; Mammut og Langøre, for de elsker at være tilbage. Har ikke glemt et eneste ord af det engelske og taler det nu stort set flydende!Lidt trist var det at skulle sige farvel til vores gode venner Peter og Annemarie, som skulle hjem til Tyskland, men sjov farvelfest og nu er den super DJ hyret til nytårsaften!Nå men Thor har lavet hindbærsnitter så jeg smutter! Hello All, How lucky have one been allowed to be; two lovely homes in this world! Back in Denmark throughout July - what a super holiday and a 1000 thanks to all for a good time! And now back home in South Africa and enjoying it - all of us! There was full speed on at all times in Denmark and it was fun and nice! A few highlights; concert with La Pistola with Rikke in Aarhus. Jette's 60 birthday at a delicious cottage and check out all the pictures of my cool mother in law. One of the birthday gifts was a tandem jump from 3.5 kilometers. height and she was happy all the way up and down! Cool huh?! 4 double birthday party at Djurs amusement park. Trip to Jutland with Alex and Lisbeth; fish at the port of Skagen, dinner at the Grenen, waterskiing in Tversted. Beautiful summer days at "my" beach in Risskov, grandmother and grandfather's sailboat, Hornbaek and Vejbystrand with friends. Cafe visits, lunches, dinners, etc., with friends and family. Play Dates with the boys' best friends and girlfriends, etc., etc. I also grabbed a couple of days with my lovely girlfriend Marit, who I met 22 years ago in Australia in beautiful Amsterdam and then the whole family a few days in London.

We will be back again next summer! Thought that a plaster on the wound would be neccesary as compared to the boys saying goodbye to everybody in Denmark, but it was not necessary with the two small dwarf rabbits, Mammoth and Langøre, they loved to be back. Did not forget a single word of English and speak it now almost with no mistakes!

It was quite sad that we had to say goodbye to our good friends Peter and Annemarie, who had to return to Germany, but fun farewell party and now the super DJ is hired for the New Year's Eve Party!

Well, Thor has made raspberry cakes so I will go now! Lots of greetings from Thor, Marcus, Asbjorn, Alba, Langøre and Mammoth
